亞蔬有位雜草生態學者

目前亞洲蔬菜研究中心有一位德國籍的學者，Dr.
Peter Juroszek，正在研究有機農業下的雜草管理。亞蔬已經開闢了六公頃的農田進行有機農業的試驗。 Dr. Juroszek 在1999年獲得波昂大學的博士學位。在這之前，著名的科學雜誌New Scientists就曾經專文介紹搭的研究成果。他們利用晚上來犁田，經過五次以後，減少小麥田的雜草種子發芽，因此不用噴施除草劑；這樣的技術稱為雜草的光控制。這是光刺激種子發芽的反利用，因為白天耕犁，雜草種子見光容易發芽。在2004年發表於J. Agro. Crop Sci.的文章中，他就列出了該法的若干缺點。 |

種子發芽的影響因素很多，也有研報指出晚上耕犁反而讓雜草長的更多。因此這樣的技術要達到實用，還有一段距離。實際上若白天犁田，讓雜草長出後再犁一次，也可以除掉許多雜草。那兩者並用呢？
