草坪草之生態、分佈與利用

摘 要

草坪草在台灣地區的利用日受重視，本文擬就草坪草種的植物分類關係，生長地生態習性及地理分布狀況做一摘要整理，並就台灣地區常用的草坪草種包括百慕達草、結縷草、熱帶地毯草、假儉草、聖奧古斯丁草及百喜草等數種草種，討論其相關的管理技術與品種特性。

Introduction of the Classification, Distribution and Utilization of Turfgrasses

Abstract

The application of turf has received more attention as the progress of the development of Taiwan. This article has reviewed the classification relationship of the major turfgrass species and their habitat and geographic distribution worldwide. Several turf grasses including bermudagrass, zoysiagrass, centipedegrass, tropical carpetgrass, St. Augustine grass and bahiagrass which are widely accepted in Taiwan are discussed in detail in terms of the management and available cultivars.
